En Route To Gyantse
Yes, I was on the back of that truck. And no, I wasn't hurt. In fact nobody got hurt. I suppose the universe was watching. When you travel to Tibet, it takes just a few days, and believe me, you are convinced that some weird and wonderful things may happen, because of weird and wonderful forces somewhere in the universe. After a few hours, another truck was found and we were back on the road.

Laughing at me because of my strange skin colour. Which you can't really see, because the exposure is crap. But believe me, they had loads of fun, touching me, making jokes.

Chinese Trucks
Maximum speed of 30kmph. That's 18.64 bloody miles per bloody hour. No heating whatsoever. Well, not on the back of the truck anyway. Obviously. Practically no suspension. And still, if you want to move from one place to the other that's what you've got to put up with. Hey, I am just a tourist.
